Worship Services
Services are held each Sunday at 10:30am.
The sanctuary and fellowship area of Stroud Presbyterian are accessible by way of a ramp at the front of the building and a lift in the southwest tower. While our worship style at Stroud Presbyterian is traditional, there is a flexibility and openness toward the talents and gifts of everyone in the congregation and beyond.
Services include a reflection, not more than 20 minutes long, based on the Scriptures as directed by “the Revised Common Lectionary” keeping us well in touch with the seasons of the church year. Special arrangements are made for holidays including Good Friday, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Each year we hold a Christmas Eve Community Candlelight service which fills the sanctuary with the warmth of the season. From time to time special devotional and worship opportunities are also offered. We strive to create an experience that contributes to the building up of our faith in God as we know Him in Jesus Christ.
